Poem: “Enviable”
Enviable, not envious, the little worm
Whose apple is his world and equally his home,
Who at his feasting hears no hint of doom.
–
Deep, deep in love he is, who could be deeper in?
He envies no one, he could envy whom?
I envy no one, I could envy him.
